Bill Dye, who joined Leith Wheeler in May 1985, is an analyst and portfolio manager and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Bill’s areas of responsibility within the Canadian Equity Committee include Financials, Golds and Precious Metals. In addition to his portfolio management and equity research experience, Bill spent five years as trader of the firm’s bond portfolios.
Bill is a member and past director of CFA Vancouver, a graduate of UBC (B.Comm., Honours, 1985) and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He has been a member of the U.B.C. Portfolio Management Foundation Client Committee for several years.
David joined Leith Wheeler as a Canadian research equity analyst from Odlum Brown Ltd., where he managed their research department. He has been in the investment business since 1985. David has also served as Chairman, B.C. Rail. David specializes in Consumer Products, Steel, Mining, and Transportation companies. He is a graduate of UBC (1979) and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Patrick joined Leith Wheeler in April 2006 from the Province of B.C.'s Investment Management Corporation, where he had been an equity analyst since 2001. Patrick is responsible for companies in the Energy sector. He’s a graduate of Simon Fraser University and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Nick joined Leith Wheeler in June 2011. He spent the past four years in London, England working as a Portfolio Manager at Brevan Howard Asset Management and Investment Analyst at Sofaer Capital, where he managed Natural Resource-dedicated funds with global mandates. Nick is responsible for covering the Materials sector at Leith Wheeler. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Bob joined Leith Wheeler in the year 2000. He managed the Mutual Fund Department until he became the Head of Equity Trading in 2007. Bob graduated from the University of British Columbia (B.Comm) and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA).
