Many of Leith Wheeler’s original accounts in 1982 still remain clients today. Our straightforward style gained us a solid reputation in the multi-employer and union pension plan industry, helping to build the firm into what it is today.

We’re proud of the long-term relationships we’ve built—often across multiple generations of our clients’ boards of Trustees and committees. Our list of institutional clients includes pension plans, endowment funds, First Nations Trusts and corporate accounts. Our portfolio managers have extensive experience with institutional clients and their objectives and regularly speak at industry conferences. We customize our portfolios to meet the needs of our clients, bringing solutions rather than off-the-shelf products.

For clients all across Canada, our Institutional Team assigns two Portfolio Managers to each client, in order to provide deep knowledge of the client and their needs.

Each account is managed individually on either a pooled or segregated basis, in accordance with each client's Investment Policy Statement and any specified account restrictions.
