Bio
Mike joined Leith Wheeler in 2016 with over 20 years of experience as a trusted advisor to wealthy families and not-for-profit clients. Most recently, Mike spent a decade with the Toronto office of a large, multinational investment firm where in addition to his client responsibilities, he was a member of the Investment Strategy and International Investment committees.
Mike graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a joint degree in French and Economics. He holds the Family Enterprise Advisor (FEA) designation, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder and member of CFA Society Toronto.
In obtaining the FEA designation, Mike doubled down on his commitment to working in a multi-disciplinary setting with clients’ other professional advisors. With his combination of technical education and experience, he is uniquely able to help both foundations and families successfully transition their wealth and stewardship to the next generation.
