Gordon Gibbons joined Leith Wheeler in June 1994, with eight years of portfolio management experience at Canada Trust. He is a member of Leith Wheeler’s Management Committee, with responsibility for our pension business.
Gordon manages pension and institutional portfolios. He is a graduate of Simon Fraser University (B.A. Economics, 1985), past president of CFA Vancouver and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Gordon serves on the Board of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and Chairs its Investment Committee.
Neil Watson joined Leith Wheeler in 1993 after nine years with a major investment dealer in Vancouver. Neil has responsibility for managing pension portfolios and is also the portfolio manager for the Leith Wheeler Diversified Pooled Fund and Balanced Fund.
Neil is a graduate of the University of Lancaster, England (BA Economics, Honours, 1974), a member of CFA Vancouver and has his Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
David Ayriss joined Leith Wheeler in 1998, and has over 30 years’ experience in the investment industry. He is responsible for managing a portion of the firm’s pension, university and corporate accounts across Canada.
David holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia and is a member of CFA Vancouver.
Perry Teperson joined Leith Wheeler in 2004 after thirteen years as an actuary and investment consultant. During his consulting career, he led the Vancouver investment practice of a multinational actuarial consulting firm providing advice on investment strategy, including the matching of bond assets with pension plan liabilities. He works with pension plans, endowment funds, First Nations trusts and corporate accounts.
Perry graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Business Science degree awarded with distinction. He is a Fellow of the Faculty of Actuaries and Canadian Institute of Actuaries and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation (CFA). He is also a member of the CFA Vancouver.
Daren Atkinson joined Leith Wheeler in December of 2001 from the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Daren graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. He is responsible for managing institutional portfolios, including First Nations, pension, Health & Welfare and corporate Accounts.
Daren holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation, and graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelors Degree in Finance.
Lisa joined Leith Wheeler in December 2008 after graduating from Simon Fraser University, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Finance. Lisa is currently a candidate in the CFA program.
Tanja joined Leith Wheeler in June 2003 as an Administrative Assistant in the Investment Funds Department and transferred to the Pensions and Institutions Department in June 2011. Prior to joining Leith Wheeler, Tanja worked in the Film and Television industry for a number of years.
Erin joined Leith Wheeler in June 2008 as an Executive Assistant in the Pensions and Institutions Department. Prior to joining Leith Wheeler, Erin worked for a number of years as a Senior Administrative Assistant in the Retirement Financial Management practice at Hewitt Associates. Erin also previously worked for the Network Implementation team at Cantel Inc. and the Station Design and Construction teams for the Millennium SkyTrain Line.
Kim joined Leith Wheeler in March 2010 as an Executive Assistant in the Pensions and Institutions Department. Prior to joining Leith Wheeler, Kim worked as an Executive Assistant in the Investment and Retirement practices at Watson Wyatt for a number of years. She also previously worked for Westcoast Energy Inc. in their legal department.
