Nader Ahmed, CFA

Bio

Nader joined Leith Wheeler in 2021, bringing 12 years of global long/short equity investing experience. He is part of the team that manages a concentrated global equity strategy for our Private Clients. Nader was previously at CPP Investments for 12 years, where he specialized in investing in companies in the Consumer, Telecommunications, Media, and Technology sectors, using a deep, fundamental, research-driven approach. He also spent two years working in CPP Investments’ Hong Kong office, where he gained experience investing in Asian equities. Nader is a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and is a graduate of the Portfolio Management Foundation program. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Nader is based in Leith Wheeler’s Toronto office.
