Project Manager
Leith Wheeler Investment Counsel Ltd. Is an employee-owned firm, headquartered in Vancouver with offices in Calgary and Toronto. We manage over $23 billion of assets on behalf of pension, foundation, corporate, Aboriginal, and individual clients across Canada.
We are looking for a Project Manager to lead a variety of projects, working closely with multiple business departments. This position will report to the CTO.
Job Description:
- Develop and execute change management strategies and plans to (i) support the adoption of a diverse portfolio of change initiatives; and (ii) deliver the change in mindset and behavior required to achieve project/program transformational change objectives
- Develop and execute actionable and targeted change management techniques and workstream deliverables including stakeholder assessments and engagements plans; communication plans and supporting material; people risk and change readiness assessments; training needs analysis and training strategies
- Work collaboratively with project managers/teams to ensure key change management activities are integrated into the overall project plan and executed on time and within budget
- Develop transition monitoring and sustainability plans including measurement systems to track stakeholder adoption and business benefits realization
- Provide guidance and coaching to project sponsors to enhance their effectiveness as change leaders
Job Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in the change management and/or related disciplines.
- 7+ years' experience in a variety of projects/markets on multidisciplinary teams, working in a project environment
- Relevant Change Management or Project management accreditations
- Strong project delivery skills with experience in organizing, prioritizing, planning, and executing workstreams for high-risk, high-visibility, large-scale projects
- Advanced knowledge of change management principles, industry best practices, lines of businesses supported, project management, organization practices, business culture(s) and business transformation
- Demonstrated experience as an organizational change management practitioner credibly leading and/or supporting complex transformational change initiatives (impacting one or more elements of people, process and technology), preferably in a partnership or matrix organization which requires managing multiple complex groupings of stakeholders
- Proven experience leading the change management work stream on projects from initial vision setting to post implementation change sustainability
