Systems Administrator & Integration Lead

We are looking for a Systems Integration Lead to own the analysis, design and review of existing and proposed system features and requirements; and to devise computer programs, systems, and related procedures.

Job Description:

The incumbent plays an essential role in all aspects of the planning, implementation and operation of an enterprise-scale platform that transforms the processes and systems across the operating environment, major and minor systems across all aspects of our business.

Reporting to the CTO, this is a hands-on delivery role within a multi-disciplinary technical and business team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily operations monitoring and maintenance of the Data Center systems.
• Deploy, setup and maintain hardware from various vendors.
• Manage complex multisite and multi-tenant networks and systems.
• Administer, configure, design and troubleshoot physical and virtual environments.
• Configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of BCP deployments.
• Configuration and troubleshooting of NAS and SANs.
• Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
• Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot infrastructure applications and systems.
• Be the escalation engineer for helpdesk team.
• Subject matter expert on systems monitoring, tuning and automation.
• Provide onsite support for device troubleshooting to include power cycles/reboots, cable testing/replacement, and media handling.
• Provide on-site vendor support for maintenance, break/fix, and/or upgrades.
• Manage RMAs with manufacturers.
• Apply security policies and procedures.
• Work with development and architecture teams as part of change management.
• Participate in platform development initiatives and integration development projects.

Job Qualifications:

  • Required - 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Analyst, Enterprise IT support engineer or similar
  • Experience with physical configuration and maintenance/troubleshooting of Enterprise/Data Center level hardware
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, including but not limited to servers, networking and storage
  • Strong understanding of Virtualization, especially VMWare
  • Experience with Windows and Linux-based operating systems
  • CCNP or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Experience with VEEAM, Zerto and other virtual machine replication technologies
  • Experience with NAS and SAN technologies is advantageous
  • Experience with monitoring and ticketing systems
  • Ability to follow specified policies and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced 24*7 environment with flexibility to work on-call, after-hours and on weekends when needed
