We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Associate to support a Portfolio Manager in our new Montreal office in providing seamless, personalized service to clients and consultants in both English and French. You will coordinate administrative, operational, and investment-related tasks to help deliver an outstanding client experience and ensuring operational excellence. You will serve as a key point of contact for clients and play a critical role in deepening client relationships.

Job Description:

Client Servicing & Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client requests in both English and French.
  • Prepare bilingual meeting materials, investment reports, and correspondence.
  • Support client meetings through coordination, note-taking, and follow-up.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by ensuring timely, proactive communication.

Account Administration

  • Facilitate onboarding of new clients, including bilingual documentation, KYC, and compliance processes.
  • Maintain accurate client data and ensure CRM systems are up to date.
  • Process account changes, transfers, cash movements, and trade instructions efficiently.
  • Liaise with custodians, internal departments, and external partners to resolve client issues.

Portfolio & Investment Support

  • Support portfolio rebalancing, client reporting, and performance review activities.
  • Prepare trade tickets, investment proposals, and financial planning summaries in French and English.
  • Monitor key client milestones, portfolio events, and tax-related deadlines.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure documentation and processes comply with regulatory standards.
  • Assist with ongoing KYC updates, suitability reviews, and client file audits.
  • Maintain bilingual templates and support internal process improvements.

Job Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years’ experience working in private wealth, investment advisory, or financial services.
  • Fully bilingual in French and English (verbal and written) – required.
  • Enrollment in the CFA program is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Advent, and Salesforce software preferred.
