Principal, Portfolio Manager - Institutional Clients


Catherine’s career at the firm spans over 20 years, most of which was spent on the institutional fixed income desk where she was responsible for strategy, trading, and analysis of fixed income portfolios for both pension and private clients. In the latter part of her career, Catherine’s role has expanded to include portfolio management and client servicing for institutional clients.

Catherine is a co-founder of the Vancouver chapter of Women in Capital Markets, is a member of the Portfolio Review Committee for the Beedie Endowment Asset Management program (BEAM) at Simon Fraser University (SFU), sits on the SFU Business Dean's Advisory Board, and is a Trustee on the SFU Academic Pension Plan. Catherine is also a Trustee on the University of Victoria Combination and Money Purchase Pension Plans and chairs their investment committee. She is a former director the board of Ballet BC and a member of their Finance and Audit Committee. Catherine has a joint Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Economics from Simon Fraser University (2000), is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder (2003), and is a member and past president of CFA Society Vancouver (2008).
