Principal, Portfolio Manager - Institutional Clients
Catherine joined Leith Wheeler in 2000 on the fixed income desk, where she was responsible for strategy, trading, and analysis of fixed income portfolios for both institutional and private clients. Later in her career, her role expanded to include portfolio management and client servicing for institutional clients.
Catherine holds a joint Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Simon Fraser University (2000) and has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder since 2003. She is also a member and past president of CFA Society Vancouver (2008).
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Catherine is a co-founder of the Vancouver chapter of Women in Capital Markets. She is a member of the Portfolio Review Committee for the Beedie Endowment Asset Management (BEAM) program at Simon Fraser University, previously served on the university’s Business Dean's Advisory Board and is a trustee on the SFU Academic pension plan. She is also a trustee on two University of Victoria’s pension plans and serves as the Chair of their Investment Committee.
