Michael Schaab, CPA, CA, CFA

Bio

Mike leads the firm's national Foundations practice and co-leads our Private Asset investment strategies. Before joining Leith Wheeler in 2011, he spent eight years as an investment partner at a Vancouver-based investment management firm, where he was responsible for equity investment analysis and portfolio management. Prior to this, he held managerial positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Toronto, Dublin, Riyadh, and Vancouver offices.

Mike is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder. Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) with distinction from Huron College at the University of Western Ontario and is a member of CFA Society Vancouver. Beyond his professional commitments, he dedicates his time volunteering with various organizations, including the Canadian Cancer Society, Dunbar Soccer, and David Spencer Encouragement Endowment.
