Bio
Ryan joined Leith Wheeler in 2016 after spending five years at Philips, Hager and North (PH&N) in active bond management while also managing the top-performing Inflation-linked Bond Fund. Prior to asset management, Ryan began his markets career with Merrill Lynch in Toronto as a fixed income market maker, with additional experience in debt syndication.
At Leith Wheeler, he leads the rates strategies team, focusing on all public sector issuers, duration, and curve positioning across all strategies, including active global rates.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and an MBA from McMaster University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder. Prior to a career in finance, Ryan managed large infrastructure projects.
