Thank you for reading the inaugural edition of our Planning Matters report. Our intention is to offer insight into areas outside of the investing topics that we explore each quarter in our Investment Outlook. The world of “ Personal Finance ” is very large and we will be tapping into the minds of the expert practitioners that are involved on a day to day basis in solving issues and creating plans for their clients. The areas of tax planning, estate planning and philanthropy will be considered in future versions of this publication.

In the first issue, we cover one of the more fundamental but often under-thought tenets of creating an effective Will - appointing an executor.
