Client Advisory: Notice of Remote Work
Given recent updates from the Canadian government and recommendations to contain the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, we have taken the step of asking our staff to work remotely where possible. Leith Wheeler has developed a rigorous business continuity plan, which allows us to remotely conduct our business operations fully, as required. Business will therefore continue as usual with the majority of our teams working remotely.
Our office remains accessible and our reception will continue to receive mail and telephone calls. As mail delivery may be interrupted, we ask that clients please do not send cheques by mail to our offices. Instead, please contact your portfolio manager to arrange for a wire transfer. If you have any scheduled meetings with our portfolio managers (PMs), please note that we are using video conferencing and telephone conferencing to conduct our meetings to reduce the risk to our clients and to our employees and communities. Your PM will be in direct contact with you to clarify schedules and is available, as always, to answer any questions you may have by telephone and email.
We recognize that we are all living through a challenging environment and we are committed to providing direct and frequent communication so that you receive all important information in a timely manner. Thank-you.
