Bio

Virginia joined Leith Wheeler in 2021, bringing two decades of bottom-up global equity experience. She leads our global equity team. Virginia’s expertise spans the entire market capitalization spectrum across various sectors, with a deep understanding of both developed and emerging markets. Prior to joining Leith Wheeler, Virginia served as the Lead Portfolio Manager on the Global Small Cap Equity Fund for over seven years at Invesco Canada. During her 14-year tenure, her team won multiple Lipper and Morningstar Canada Awards. Virginia started her career as a Research Analyst with Pembroke Management in Montreal. She earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree (Honours) from the University of British Columbia, and is a graduate of the Portfolio Management Foundation program. She also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Virginia grew up in Vancouver but will remain in Toronto to help expand our footprint.
